Salary: £16000 - £18000 per annum 25 days annaul leave excluding bank holidays, pension

We deal with a number of high profile Government Agencies and ‘Blue Chip’ organisations across all economic sectors in the UK.
To support the development of the business and progress these objectives, we are setting up a Finance Shared Service Centre (FSSC) in Worksop, covering the UK & Ireland Region to improve efficiency and effectiveness of transactional processes across the Region.
Main Purpose Of Role:
To deliver high quality and consistent financial advice, support and resolution of issues to external and internal customers within agreed parameters in order to maximise the efficiency and effectiveness of the G4S Finance operation.
Key Accountabilities:
- Handling all inbound interactions received into the FSSC by phone, email and post delivering a quality and professional service to all FSSC customers
- Be the first point of contact for all customer enquiries, creating and categorising inbound service requests and resolving on a first time basis when possible.
- Answering queries relating to Accounts Payable, Accounts Receivable, Expenses, Finance Systems, General Ledger and SAP.
- Resolve day to day customer service enquiries, issues and complaints, escalating as appropriate.
- Look for process improvement opportunity for FSSC service delivery
- Action workflow requests in a timely and consistent manner
- Identify and escalate issues and incidents
- Work to daily team targets set by the Customer Services Team Leader
- Provide basic help and guidance to employees on best practice and G4S process.
Technical:
- Experienced in using MS Excel & MS Word
- Numerate and literate
- Experience of using a CRM system would be desirable
- An understanding of accounting systems and the interactions of ledgers is preferred but not required
Experience:
- Experience of working with Suppliers & Customers to resolve queries and issues
- Experience of working in a busy Customer Service/Finance environment
Personal Qualities:
- Good communication, must be able to effectively communicate across all levels of the business to explain and resolve issues relating to service requests
- Team Player must be willing to help and support colleagues
- Should possess the drive to deliver a high quality service to help promote the Financial Shared Service Centre
- Ability to problem solve issues such as payment queries and missing invoices relating to customer and supplier accounts.
- Motivated to work in a call centre environment, handling high volumes of incoming calls
- Good attention to detail required to capture information relating to customer queries to enable correct service categorisation
- Ability to work to strict deadlines to enable team to meet Service Level Agreements
- Ability to keep calm under pressure
