We are seeking enthusiastic, caring non-emergency Ambulance Care Assistants to join an exciting and expanding team based at the University College Hospital London. If successful you will be driving (or assisting as part of a crew) and transporting patients with different requirements based on their mobility classification. The job purpose is to provide and maintain a caring environment for these patients and provide a safe transport service, maintaining high standards of customer care and service delivery. Experience is preferred but not essential as we can provide comprehensive training, mentoring, and support where necessary to ensure we are able to offer the best service to patients whilst in our care and give individuals the opportunity to learn and develop within the ambulance industry.
Essential Criteria:

In return, you will be provided with a G4S uniform, the opportunity to earn a monthly bonus incentive, enrollment into a company Pension scheme and G4S Life Assurance scheme and access to discounts including retails, dining and travel.
The Ideal Candidate
This role requires the ability to work with vulnerable, frail people, who may be distressed or experiencing pain, in a caring and compassionate way. A DBS check will therefore be required to exclude any individual with a history of criminal behaviour which could be considered unacceptable (by G4S or the clients) in a patient care environment.
Safety is of paramount importance and the post holder must ensure that safe systems of work are followed without compromise. The post holder needs to be committed to maintaining high standards of customer care and service delivery that will include the responsibility of adequate safeguarding and prevent training and awareness and an understanding of reporting concerns to the line manager.
