SERVICE DELIVERY MANAGER

HMP Rye Hill, Rugby

£35,000 - £37,000 per annum 

Full Time - 40 hours per week

HMP Rye Hill is situated in Willoughby, near Rugby, Warwickshire and is a category B prison for sentenced male adults who have been convicted of a current or previous sex offence(s). 

We have an exciting opportunity at HMP Rye Hill as a Service Delivery Manager within our Facilities Manager team at HMP Rye Hill. 

You will manage and develop the delivery of a diverse range of Total Facilities Management (TFM) services to meet operational and business requirements, ensuring contractual service level agreements and KPI’s are met while operating to the needs to the business. 

You will be responsible for the implementation of Health and Safety and Environmental Policies and Procedures and actively promote the importance and values of effective communication throughout G4S of environmental / Quality / H&S good practice, compliance and continuous improvement.

Key Responsibilities of the role:

  • Manage resources to meet daily delivery schedules and business requirements 
  • Liaise with clients offering advice and knowledge r
  • Develop and maintain an effective working relationship 
  • Foster an environment of continuous improvement to maximise customer satisfaction.
  • Update Statutory Compliance and self assessment returns
  • Take ownership of Insurance Inspection reporting, including sub contract liaison, updating of records and ensuring inspections are completed 
  • Liaise with Sub Contractors over the service and maintenance of assets located across the site, ensuring records are kept up to date and available for inspection/audit.
  • Lead and develop skilled teams 
  • Support the team in continually reviewing operational procedures 
  • Develop & support positive team ethos 
  • Ensure that plans are in place to maintain staffing levels appropriate to meet contractual requirements. 
  • Ensure that plans/rotas are in place to maintain a working 24/7 response via a call out process. 
  • Manage staff induction, training, and performance reviews of direct reports.
  • Collate, analyse and review information. i.e. budgets, hours, forecasts in order to monitor and report on performance. 
  • Undertake regular monitoring of service areas 
  • Carry out the policies and procedures of G4S  including: Fire, Health and Safety, Accidents, Security,  Complaints, Confidentiality.
  • Undertake hands on duties as & when required to achieve team goals.

 

The Ideal Candidate

Essential Skills

  • A recognised industry qualification in mechanical or electrical skillset.
  • Must have a good solid knowledge of hard services. 
  • Excellent Organisational skills
  • Good communication skills and the ability to handle issues of high sensitivity
  • TFM Management experience
  • A minimum of 3 years’ broad management experience within a customer focussed multi-functional service delivery environment, including CAFM systems operation
