HMP Rye Hill

Part Time 15 hours per week (job share)

£7,249.69 per annum

HMP Rye Hill is situated in Willoughby, near Rugby, Warwickshire and is a category B prison for sentenced male adults who have been convicted of a current or previous sex offence(s). 

We have an exciting opportunity for someone to join our busy HR Department as an HR Administrator as part of a job share.  As this is a small team, you will have the opportunity to be involved with a wide range of HR matters.

The key responsibilities of the role are as follows:

  • Co-ordination & participation in recruitment activities for all levels of staff to include arranging large-scale assessment days.
  • Collate, produce and distribute relevant data on a monthly basis to a number of stakeholders within the business
  • Maintain computerised HR records in line with relevant GDPR guidelines
  • Undertake security screening for all candidates within the establishment
  • Deal with routine HR queries
  • Administer the payroll system and processes, answering queries to ensure accurate payment
  • Administering the sickness absence process liaising with Managers to ensure appropriate paperwork is completed
  • Taking minutes at relevant HR related meetings e.g. disciplinary, grievance, sickness management
