Salary: £19,131.20 per annum 

Full Time - 40 hours per week

HMP Rye Hill is situated in Willoughby, near Rugby, Warwickshire and is a category B training prison acting as a national resource for sentenced male adults who have been convicted of a current or previous sex offence(s).

The successful candidate will be required to provide an effective and efficient administration service to the Programmes Department.

Key Responsibilities: 

  • Provide a full administrative service so that the needs of the Programmes team are met.
  • Arrange Post Programme Reviews to meet allocated audit deadlines.
  • Minute Post Programme Reviews, typing up said minutes and distributing them to professionals involved in the prisoner’s sentence planning pathway.
  • Minute other professional and multi-disciplinary meetings, typing up said minutes and distributing them to the professionals involved.
  • Maintain programmes database, ensuring that all correspondence and documentation is dealt with in a professional manner that meets audit requirements – including Healthcare consent forms and programmes referral forms.
  • Maintain comprehensive stocks of all forms, documentation and stationary that is required for the Programmes Department.
  • Deal with all routine queries so that an appropriate response is provided.
  • Liaise closely with the Treatment Managers, Programmes facilitators, Offender Supervisor and Offender Manager.
  • Act in accordance with security and operational instructions at all times to ensure the maintenance of security within the secure environment. (As required by secure establishments).

  • Resilience –this role is based in a department that deals with sexual offences; you will therefore be exposed to details of sexual offences and victims. It is important that the ideal candidate will have considered the impact that this could have on them and the ability to seek appropriate support, and ways of coping, if required.

  • Previous experience in similar role is desirable
