Main Responsibilities
Maintenance Administrator - Fixed Term Contract until 31 August 2019
Walsall, West Midlands
£17,500 per annum
Full Time - 40 hours per week
Job Outline:
To task all property repairs and process requests for equipment, and monitor them in accordance with contract timescales
Responsibilities:
- Ensure all property repairs are tasked to the Repair & Maintenance Team for completion within contract timescales
- Liaise with the Repair & Maintenance Team to capture information relating to property repairs in order to update and close defects on the system
- Compile task sheets for the Maintenance Team
- Liaise with the Property Agent(s) in order to resolve landlord responsibility repairs
- Manage Property Agent inspection reports by raising repairs onto a CRM database and liaising with the Property Agent to provide them with regular progress updates
- Liaise with the Welfare Team to ensure all inventory requests are necessary
- Liaise closely with the Warehouses in Walsall and Wakefield to ensure adequate stock levels and place orders as necessary
- Liaise with the Transport Team to ensure the timely delivery and collection of inventory items
- Liaise with Third Party contractor(s) to ensure repairs are addressed within timescales
- At all times, keep databases updated of progress made on open defects and close on completion and within contract timescales
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills:
- Ability to use Word, Excel, PowerPoint & Outlook Email & Calendar
- Ability to work to tight deadlines and delivering planned budgets
- Experience of working quickly and accurately with a high level of attention to detail
Desirable Skills:
- Some understanding of maintenance issues
- Key understanding of logistics and planning
- 5 GCSE’s at grade C and above including English Language and Mathematics (or equivalent)
- Ability to handle confidential information
