Main Responsibilities
Customer Experience Advisor
Rotherham, S63 7ER
£16,000 per annum
Full Time - 37.5 hours per week
Working between the hours of 9am and 7pm Monday to Friday and 10am to 2pm 1 in 3 Saturdays.
Please be advised that training for this role will take place between 3rd December 2018 and 16th January 2019, excluding bank holidays. You must attend every day of training during this time.
Job Outline:
To be the first point of contact for customers, ensuring they receive a professional service.
Responsibilities:
- Deal with telephone queries and provide information to both external and internal customers as necessary. Including accurate legal guidance.
- Deliver customer interactions across a variety of communication channels, when trained to the standards required.
- Keep accurate and timely records of all contacts with the customer in line with company standards and expectations.
- Adhere to the minimum target call and communication levels and standards as set by the company.
- Keep up-to-date with briefs and news articles to remain fully informed with company and legislative changes.
- Adhere, at all times, to the Data Protection ICT and Confidentiality Policy.
- Carrying out any additional duties as reasonably requested.
- Be responsible for own professional behavior at all times.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills:
- Have experience working in a customer focused environment, providing customer services over the phone and/or other communication channels
- Be confident and courteous communicators with an excellent telephone manner
- Have a proven conscientious and well organised approach to work load, working on own initiative and the ability to plan effectively
- Be able to work under pressure, often dealing with emotive issues
- Have an excellent standard of written and spoken English
- Have excellent customer service, rapport building and communication skills with the ability to adapt own approach to suit a diverse range of people
- Have a willingness to learn and be open to change
- Be I.T literate, specifically experienced in using Microsoft Office packages
Desirable:
- Experience of working on public sector contracts.
- I.T literacy, specifically experience of using all MS Office packages.
You will also be required to provide a full 5 year work/education history and references will be taken up.
