TRAINEE BID WRITER/RESEARCHER

We have an exciting opportunity for a Trainee Bid Writer to join our team. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week home based

 

As part of the bid team, the Trainee Bid Writer will work with team members, internal and external stakeholders to develop, research, write and edit material for bids ensuring it meets both customer specifications and company standards and requirements, in order to win bids.


 

Key Responsibilities will include:

 

  • Be open and willing to learn, including shadowing other Bid Team members and receiving constructive criticism

  • Partake in all Bid Team meetings, operational design workshops and innovation Forums to help generate winning tenders

  • Gathering and capturing information through various sources including online

  • Research, Operational Teams and other members of the Bid Team

  • Assist in writing and editing bidding material, ensuring compliance with client Specifications

  • Ensure Win Themes are reflected in bid responses and maximise potential to achieve highest possible quality scores

  • Help to maintain a central bid library of content and templates

  • Assist in the management of client portals including monitoring CQs

  • Build and maintain relationships with internal and external stakeholders, to share information and ensure that all requirements relating to tender documents are understood and taken into account.

  • Manage all documentation and processes in line with company policies and standards
