Human Resources (HR) Administrator - Fixed Term Contract 6 months

Worksop, Nottinghamshire 

£17,000 - £18,500 per annum

Full-time (40 Hours per week)

Hours of work - 8.00am to 5.00pm

G4S HR Shared Services are looking for an enthusiastic and customer focused individual, preferably with experience of call handling in an HR environment or HR administrative skills, to join our busy team in Worksop and deliver a first class service to support our operational and HR colleagues at various locations across the UK.

THE ROLE

Providing a service to over 4,500 managers and employees across complex and fast moving businesses, there is never a dull moment. You’ll be dealing with high volumes of customers who provide services to some of the most important and secure critical environments we have in the UK.

These services cover Healthcare, Prisons, Secure Training Centres, Immigration Services and critical infrastructure sites throughout the country.

As you would expect in this type of role, you would be working to tight and continuous timescales managed by Service Level Agreements (SLA) and Customer requirements.

In addition, you will be responsible for:

  • Supporting the business by providing high quality administration and coordination of core HR activities
  • Manage the HR team mailbox and inbound requests
  • Provide a professional first point of contact for employees requiring HR support

To be successful in this challenging and busy role, you’ll need to be able to demonstrate a strong mix of the following, ideally gained from within an HR function:

  • A strong customer focus
  • A good telephone manner
  • Confident communication skills
  • Good organisational skills
  • Previous Contact Centre or Shared Services experience
  • Excellent administrative skills
  • Ability to deal with ambiguity in a constantly changing environment
  • Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office and Google
  • Strong work ethic with attention to detail 
  • Able to build a good working relationship across multiple teams across the business
  • Experienced in MS Outlook, Word, Excel and PowerPoint
  • Experienced in creating mail merges
