Main Responsibilities
Regional Lead FME - Location flexible as based from home to cover Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire.
We are currently recruiting for a Regional Lead Doctor who will manage our Forensic Medical Examiner doctors in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire & Nottinghamshire.
Salary £80,000 Per Annum, company pension, paid study leave, subsidised MDU to a maximum of £7,000p/a can be claimed on a monthly basis and will be a taxable benefit.
Shift: Two 8 hour admin days & 12 hour clinical shifts per week - generally Monday to Friday days (some weekend days/nights if required)

Job Outline:
To ensure that the doctors delivering care within police custody and to victims achieve clinical excellence, are well led and that our clinical approach, working alongside Lead Nurse counterparts, provides sustainable and effective services. To provide inspirational leadership, working effectively and autonomously across professional and organisational boundaries.
Key Responsibilities/Accountabilities
- Work in partnership with other members of the senior management team to provide clinical leadership and management whilst setting strategic direction for the network
- Responsible for the day to day supervision and management of the Forensic Medical Examiners and in the area. Ensure staff have clear goals and support to enable them to successfully carry out their roles.
- To support robust and innovative clinical management and the efficient delivery of improvement plans, without compromising clinical quality
- To ensure the delivery of the quality strategy and to maintain a culture within G4S Health that strives for excellence in: continuous quality improvement, clinical audit, innovation, research and teaching
- To ensure that the requirements of national professional bodies and national policy from central government are implemented as required by the Medical Director
- To Line Manager FME's in Derbyshire, Leicestershire, Lincolnshire and Nottinghamshire.
The Ideal Candidate
Essential Skills
- Experience of working in dynamic environments
- Experience of leading and managing clinical teams and clinical risk at a senior level
- Registered doctor
- Leading quality improvement and governance change processes
- Driving License and access to own transport.
- Must be prepared to travel to various sites
