Job Outline:
The Business Intelligence Manager will be a key member of the G4S Patient Transport senior leadership team and will establish and lead a business intelligence cell (BIC) that provides management information and analysis to support operational teams to deliver business efficiencies and growth targets. The BIC extract, interpret and analyse business information to demonstrate operational effectiveness, identify quantifiable opportunities to reduce costs and protect business value through risk identification. The postholder will both support and develop the BIC team in their technical delivery and will support and partner the wider business in ensuring the outputs of the BIC yield their potential benefits and will work closely with both the UK&I business development and operational teams to support tender opportunities and organic business growth.
Business information -
- Design, develop and produce class leading information packs harnessing the various information feeds from across the business
- Provide concise information to highlight performance against contractual KPI regimes
- Develop, automate and circulate regular MI reports to support longer term trend analysis and business performance metrics
Business Performance -
- Support the development of profit improvement plans and track performance against agreed targets for contracts not meeting budgeted profit margins
- Prepare clear, concise briefings appropriate for senior stakeholders within the business up to, and including, the G4S UK&I executive committee
- Support the production of financial investment models and writing of Business case papers, both internally and during client contract negotiations
- Work in collaboration with business functional support (Fleet, IT, HR) to help build commercial models to support new or on-going investments to ensure right decisions are made and ensuring continual focus on financial control and efficiency
- Provide support on new business opportunities to the UK&I Business Development team
- Controls & Risk: Support the implementation of processes that reduce financial and strategic business risks

Desirable Skills
- A professional Accounting qualification (ideally CIMA/ACA) with 3+ years industry experience
