Lewisham Hospital

£26,000 to £32,000 per annum 

Full Time - 40 hours per week 

 

Job Outline:

The Service Delivery Manager has responsibility for the efficiency and effectiveness of the operation, and the achievement of daily contractual obligations. The role is responsible for the daily supervision of the operational staff and the fostering of best practice.

Responsibilities:

  • Communicate effectively to staff relevant information & key messages relating to their services.
  • Support the Contracts Managers in building a culture of open and honest communication.
  • Support the Contracts Manager in reviewing quality and delivery of the services.
  • Chair and attend meetings with staff and management, to ensure that information is shared clearly and effectively, so that a uniform approach can be maintained.
  • Build a sound working relationship with all PTS personnel to enable effective communication and teamwork.
  • Liaise with clients/employees/departments and external agencies to resolve issues arising on a day-to-day basis, in line with company policies and procedures.
  • Utilise all resources ensuring that they are effective and efficient at all times.
  • Ensure company sickness and absence policy is implemented and followed through.
  • Review and confirm employee timesheets prior to monthly payroll
  • Ensure appropriate action is taken relating to disciplinary and grievance issues and that procedures are carried out in line with current legislation and company policies
  • Ensure that all employees receive employment development reviews (EDR) in line with company policy.
  • Conduct appropriate monitoring to meet the requirements of the Contract.
  • Ensure all operating practices and procedures are adhered to so that a safe and secure working environment is provided for employees and patients.
  • Ensure the Company’s reputation for quality and service is enhanced with the client and the customer by maintaining proper standards in all services.
  • Take immediate steps to remedy any deficiencies in the services.
  • To understand and ensure that services are managed within budget and service level agreement.
  • Provide and produce reports, documents and information on a regular and ad-hoc basis, so that management and others are fully appraised, ensuring informed decisions can be made.
  • Through regular reviews listen to your staffs views on services improvements and opportunities.
