We have an opportunity for an experienced Operations Manager to join our team based in Cheltenham. This is a full time role working 40 hours per week

 

 

 

 

As Operations Manager  you will be accountable for the management and successful delivery of all hard FM planned and reactive works under the remit of the operational delivery teams. As budget holder you will be responsible for the effective utilisation of resources to minimise expenditure. This includes the identification of the necessary resources, skills and capabilities required to deliver the service to minimise reliance upon third party contractors responsible for delivery of statutory and mandatory compliance. You will be responsible for continued compliance with all contract SLA and KPI’s, site policies, Health and Safety rules and regulations. Development and delivery of the operational and continual improvement strategy, including implementation. You will also be responsible for maintaining accurate maintenance records on the site CAFM system. Develop and maintain day to day contact with client representatives and key stakeholders to ensure a professional attitude and image in all aspects of service delivery throughout all your team.

 

 

 

Requirements:

 

You will be a strong leader with an ability to implement cultural change, through a transformational process. You will have demonstrable skills in building teams and lead by example. You will be proficient in IT and help promote G4S values, and act as an ambassador in all interactions with client and contractor representatives. You will also contribute to the EHS culture to create a healthy and risk-free working environment.

DV clearance will be required to fulfil this role.

The Ideal Candidate

 

Essential Criteria:

 

  • IOSH managing safely/NEBOSH

  • NVQ4 engineering

  • 5 or more years’ experience in working in a commercial or industrial FM service delivery environment.

  • BSC level 1 & 2.

  • Excellent communication & leadership skills.

  • Good IT literacy skills
