SCHOOL SITE MANAGER - FACILITIES MANAGEMENT
Salary: £14.00 per hour
Working Hours: Permanent, Full Time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 10:30am and 7:30pm
Location: Central Foundation, E3 2AE. Tower Hamlets East London

If you have a strong background in premises management and are ready to take responsibility for the care and upkeep of our site, we’d love to hear from you!
This is a permanent, full time position, with a 40-hour working week, covering both mornings and evenings. You’ll be responsible for ensuring the safety and security of the premises, maintaining statutory compliance, and overseeing the smooth operation of essential systems like fire and burglar alarms, lighting, and heating. In addition, you will oversee cleaning, and general site upkeep, including semi-skilled maintenance work and contractor management.
Responsibilities:
● Keyholder.
● Manage Cleaning and Caretaking staff across the school.
● Ensure staff are completing projects effectively and communicating effectively in their roles.
● Communicate effectively with the facilities team to ensure that projects are completed on time.
● Ensure that the building and grounds are secure when not in use.
● Ensure that heating, lighting and alarm systems are checked regularly to ensure that they are operational.
● Take responsibility for equipment orders involving facilities across the school.
The Ideal Candidate
The Ideal Candidate:
● Experience in delivering facilities management in an operational environment.
● Experience working to service performance KPIs.
● Line management experience coupled with customer service skills.
● Knowledgeable in relevant Health & Safety, risk assessments, method statements and permit to work procedures.
● IOSH Managing Safety.
● Understanding of Statutory Compliance.
● IT Literate.
● Driving Licence desirable
Due to the nature of this role, you will also be required to complete an Enhanced Disclosure and Barring Service check.
