Salary: £35,000 per annum


Working Hours: Permanent, Full time, 40 hours per week, Monday to Friday between 8am and 5pm


Location: Soar Valley Community College, Leicester, LE4 7GY, with travel to various sites within the Leicester contract


G4S Facilities Management are recruiting for a skilled and adaptable Mobile Maintenance Engineer with a strong carpentry bias and general maintenance to join our team.

 

The role involves travelling to various sites within the Leicester schools contract to carry out planned and reactive building maintenance tasks. You will focus on carpentry work and general maintenance upkeep, ensuring the highest level of service delivery, safety and efficiency.


Responsibilities:

  • To support the Hard Service Manager in the delivery of day to day operations & PPM delivery ofthe Leicester schools contract.
  •  To carry out building fabric duties throughout Leicester Schools Contract.
  •  To priortise and handle all demand work orders received from the facilities helpdesk, ensuring that all reactive tasks are actioned/completed within the agreed timescales.
  •  To assist in obtaining costs for additional works and materials wherever possible using approved G4S specialist subcontractors and suppliers.

The Ideal Candidate

Essential:

  • A valid UK driving licence is essential. A company van will be provided for use in this role.
