Job Introduction

G4S Zambia seeks to appoint  Human Resources Officers who will be based in Chingola and Lusaka, and  will be involved in the implementation and drive of the business HR Operations for Zambia. The candidates will report to the Human Resource Manager-Northern Region and Human Resource Manager-Southern Region

Main Responsibilities

  • Ensure to coordinate and Oversee all HR Dept activities for employees
  • Conduct Recruitment and screening of staff within 45 days of a vacancy opening.
  • Conducting disciplinary matters within a reasonably short time.
  • Ensure there is a pipeline of readily trained recuits ready for deployment at any given time
  • Ensure all monthly reports are completed and submitted on time
  • Draft all contracts and other documents for all new employees
  • On and Off boarding employees on the Sage Payroll
  • Handling labour and Industrial Relations matters
  • Processing of Reward and Recognition and Separation Benefits 
  • Ensure the Region is Audit ready at all times and assist in responding to Audit queries
  • Conduct Appraisals for employees 

The Ideal Candidate

  • Diploma in HR/Related field
  • Full grade 12 full certificate 
  • Reporting Skills and attention to Detail
  • Must be a Team player
  • Must pay attention to detail
  • Must be conversant with Sage 
  • Must have at least 2 years of experience
